Billie Eilish is one of the best artist of our generation. With the support and collaboration of her brother Finneas, she became an overnight sensation. Many people aren't a fan of her music because she is different or they don't like her style, but I love it. Her music is fresh and exciting and very interesting. Eilish is her own independent young women and I just love how her music truly reflects who she really is.
Eilish released her song "Ocean Eyes" onto Soundcloud when she was thirteen. The song went viral overnight and she has been on the rise ever since. Not just on the rise, but dominating the music industry for the past few years.
Making History
At the 2020 Grammy Awards Eilish made musical history. At just 18 years old she is the youngest artist to ever win the top four awards. Eilish won Album of the Year with "When We Fall Asleep Where do We Go", Song of the Year with "bad guy", Record of the Year with "bad guy", and Best New Artist. She also won a fifth Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album with "When We Fall Asleep Where do We Go". YO THIS GIRL IS 18!!! If this doesn't impress you, I don't know what will.

Songs are hard as shit to create and produce when artist are true and creative, especially when they do a majority of themselves. Learning the back story behind this song and how is was created is really interesting and eye opening. This video is Billie and Finneas talking about the different sounds in their song and how it came to be and it is super interesting, I highly recommend. FUN FACT when they produce their songs they never use pitch correcting, unless it is specifically for artistic reasons. Again, truly remarkable considering the layers upon layers of harmony Billie sings in this song."bad guy" has been streaming on Spotify 1,200,471,196 times, that is just on Spotify! It is definitely her most popular song but she has so many other amazing songs.
